How to Prepare Pepper Chicken

Pepper Chicken


Pepper chicken is a spicy dish, This is very famous in South India, This preparation is about 3 serves and take around 30 min for preparation. 

Ingredients
  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Oil - 4 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon - 2 stick
  • Grambu - 4 Cloves
  • Onion - 2 (Finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger - 2 small piece
  • Garlic - 5 pods
  • Pepper - 3 tbsp
  • Dry Red chilies - 3
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp

Preparation

  • Fry the Ginger, Garlic, Pepper, Red chilies and Cumin seeds together and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add Cinnamon, Cloves and chopped onions and stir till the onion turn golden brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, chicken and grinned masala and fry for 5 min.
  • Add tomato and salt, now pour water into the pan and cook till the chicken become soft.
  • Now the pepper chicken is ready to serve hot with rice, chapatti etc.,
