How to Prepare Mushroom Fry

Mushroom Fry

Mushroom is a Nutritious food, You can prepare the dish within 15 min to 20 min.This preparation method for 2 serves only.

Ingredients 

  • Fresh Mushroom - 100 gm (cut into 4 pieces)
  • Big Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Ginger and Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Sambar powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 
  • Coriander leaves - Handful
  • Mint leaves - Handful (optional)
  • Cinnamon - 2 small pieces
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Green Chilies - 2

Preparation

  • Cut the Mushroom into 4 pieces each.Cut the onion and tomatoes also. Split the chilies.
  • Keep the kadai in the stove, season it with the items given in two season in one table spoon of  oil, saute the onion, tomatoes and the chilies.
  • Add Ginger and garlic paste and stir nicely.
  • once the raw smell of ginger garlic paste add the Mushroom pieces, sambar powder and turmeric powder.
  • Saute for 3 to 4 min you will find water oozing out of mushrooms.
  • Now add very little water and add salt as required and close the kadai with a lid.Keep the stove in medium flame.
  • The Mushroom will get cooked within 5min, so after 5min open the lid and see if there is excess water, increase the flame and cook till there is not much water contant.
  • Now the Mushroom fry ready, garnish with coriander leaves while serving.  

Note: 

Mushroom should not be washed for a long time in water as it will absorb water. First wipe it with a soft dry towel or tissue paper and than with a wet one.
