How to prepare Ladies Finger Curd Curry

Ladies Finger Curd Curry

In Tamilnadu it is called as Vendakkai More Kuzhambu, This preparation for 3 serves and it takes around 30 min to prepare.

Ingredients
  • Ladies Finger - 10
  • Onion - 1
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Channa dhal - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilies - 2
  • Green Chilies - 2
  • Ginger - 1 small piece
  • Grated Coconut - 3 tbsp
  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - little 

Preparation

  • Fry the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, Channa dhal, Red and green chilies, ginger, grated coconut and grind it till become smooth paste.
  • In a kadai in little oil saute the onion and the ladies finger nicely for 5 min.
  • Add two cup of water and cook the ladies finger till it cooked.
  • Add the grinned masala mixed with a half cup of water with salt as required.
  • Let the Mixture come to boil, now add the curd and switch off the pan.
  • Now in separate kadai season the curry leaves in coconut oil, than cool it and add it to the curry. Now the Ladies Finger curd curry is ready to serve.
Note:

There is no need for curd to get cooked. The safest way is to switch off the stove immediately after adding curd.
